Xenagama taylori

From Somalia.
Xenagama taylori is a small agamid, the size of which is about 10 cm (4 in.) for 20 g. The shape of its tail, small and large, like a shield, spiny and ends with a long dart, is a characteristic feature of this species. Males have a turquoise blue colour during reproduction period on the throat and around the mouth. Very hardy, it adapt easy to captivity. It eats insects and vegetables.

We have two groups of animals. Our first hatchlings came in March 2006.
