This small monitor, the size of which does not go far from 60-70 cm (23 or 27 in.), has a long and thin body with a long head, a long neck and a long and thin semi prehensile tail. Semi arboreal, it moves gracefully. It is very curious and can be friendly, however it remain sharp and nervous. We do not breed this species any longer.
