From dry regions west from the Red Sea, Sudan and South East Egypt, Eritrea and Djibouti and North West Somalia.
Uromastyx ocellata is a small species that reaches a maximum of 30 cm (12 in.). Females are bigger than males which is rare in agamids. Adults can live in harems. Juveniles can be bred together. As all Uromastyx, it is a vegetarian and desert species.
We have several groups of one male and two females.
