From Oriental Atlas Mountain in Morocco and North West, North East and South West Algeria, around the Occidental Large Erg. From now on, Uromastyx acanthinura nigriventris is no longer exported to Europe.
It's probably the most robust and easier to breed species, ideal to begin with Uromastyx. An adult is about 40-45 cm (16 to 18 in.) long. As all Uromastyx, it is a vegetarian and desert lizard. A great chromatic polymorphism is noticeable in this species. We have carefully selected our genitors with particularly colourful individuals.
Our breeding stock is made of different bloodlines. In a single clutch, young often develop different patterns with plain or blended colours: yellow, green, orange, red… We can hardly see two identical individuals.
