Hydrosaurus weberi

It is the largest sort of agamid. Males can reach the size of 120 cm (47 in.). Males have a crest on their neck, on the back, and a third, supported by the vertebra bones, on the basis of the tail. Another characteristic linked to its aquatic habits is its palmed back fingers. Insectivorous when young, it becomes vegetarian when adult. WC animals are generally shy and full of parasites and hard to acclimate. However, captive bred Hydrosaurus are strong and friendly.
